Position Summary:
We are seeking a full‑time Fabrication Assembler Technician to join
our Indianapolis team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in
manufacturing by interpreting blueprints, assembling components, and ensuring
the quality of finished products. This position involves both fabrication and
assembly work, as well as maintaining a clean and efficient production
environment.
Candidates should be comfortable using tools and machinery, identifying and troubleshooting issues, collaborating with team members, and following all safety and quality procedures.
This position is based primarily in the fabrication shop at our Indianapolis location, with occasional local travel to customer sites during normal business hours. A clean driving record is required. This role offers a competitive compensation plan and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material and assembly requirements.
Take accurate measurements to ensure precision and proper fit during fabrication.
Align, assemble, and test fabricated components to meet quality standards.
Operate machinery and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and finish parts.
Maintain, clean, and inspect fabrication tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or repair needs.
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to confirm performance and conformance with customer specifications.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Mechanically and technically inclined with strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting and repairs preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Must maintain a clean driving record and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
