This 12–18 month rotational program offers hands-on experience across multiple technical disciplines, including&nbsp;fabrication, panel and valve assembly, turnaround operations, and certified technical training.</p><p>Participants gain real-world skills, professional certification, and exposure to field operations that prepare them for long-term technical careers within GE Booth.</p><p>To develop flexible, field-ready technicians through an immersive rotational experience that builds&nbsp;technical depth, real-world capability, and career confidence—equipping participants to step confidently into technical roles across our organization.</p><p><b>As a Technician, you’ll rotate through several departments to gain a complete technical foundation across GE Booth’s operations:</b></p><ul><li>Panel/Fab Shop:&nbsp;Learn to read electrical schematics, fabricate control panels, and gain exposure to automation and controls work.</li><li>Valve Shop:&nbsp;Assemble and test control valves while learning their integration into automated systems.</li><li>Field Service:&nbsp;Participate in on-the-job training at customer sites, troubleshooting real equipment and performing calibrations.</li><li>Hurst Group:&nbsp;Support embedded technical operations through site-based maintenance and system troubleshooting.</li><li>Endress+Hauser (E+H) Training:&nbsp;Receive hands-on instruction with E+H instrumentation, attend specialized service schools, and work toward E+H Authorized Service Technician certification.</li><li>GE Booth Schools:&nbsp;Complete structured classroom and hands-on courses in valves, instrumentation, calibration, and flow systems.</li><li>Turnaround Jobs:&nbsp;Take part in field projects across the U.S., gaining practical experience in dynamic, high-impact environments.</li><li>12–18 months, depending on technician start date and Endress+Hauser training schedules.</li><li>The program is designed for individuals who are passionate about technical work and eager to build long-term careers in industrial services.</li></ul><p><b>Ideal candidates will have experience or education in:</b></p><ul><li>Electrical &amp; Controls</li><li>Instrumentation or Automation</li><li>Mechanical Assembly (valves, final assembly)</li><li>Panel Building</li><li>Trade school, associate degree, military technical background, or equivalent hands-on experience</li></ul><p><b>Applicants must:</b></p><ul><li>Be willing and able to relocate for assignments at different GE Booth locations.</li><li>Be of legal age (18+) to manage travel and accommodations using a company-issued credit card.</li><li>Demonstrate a strong interest in hands-on technical and field service work.</li><li>Exhibit adaptability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning.</li></ul><p><b>Upon successful completion, graduates will be considered for placement in one of GE Booth’s technical teams, including roles such as:</b></p><ul><li>Field Service Technician</li><li>Embedded Technician</li><li>Controls Engineer</li><li>Control Panel Builder</li><li>Final Assembly Technician</li><li>Valve Assembly Technician</li></ul><p>Advancement opportunities are available across all roles, with structured career progression and specialization pathways based on performance and experience.</p><p>This role comes with a competitive compensation plan and as well as excellent benefits starting day one and matching 401K.&nbsp;Drug and background screenings will be required as a condition of employment. Booth Co. is a family-owned and operated industrial automation sales company looking to hire their next full-time Technical Sales Engineer at our Romeoville, Illinois location.</p><p>The George E. Booth Co. is a major distributor of process instrumentation products, controls, and related services to customers in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.&nbsp; Founded in 1963, George E.
